Calling All Parents! Are you looking for a great way to get the kids out of the house each day for an hour or two of exercise and a chance to soak up the rays? Then the Austin Ridge Rapids is the perfect choice for you and your family. We are looking for swimmers between the age of 4 and 18 to be a part of our team. Our only requirement is that your swimmer can make it from one end of the pool to the other. We are a teaching team, concentrating on making it fun and enjoyable for the swimmer while they work to improve their strokes, so it doesn't matter whether you swim like a minnow or a dolphin. We're also a parent volunteer organization, so parental participation IS a must to make the swim season a great time for the entire family.

It's that time of year to gear up for the 2021 Austin Ridge Swim Team season! We are already busy planning this season. Due to COVID, this season will be a little different from previous seasons. This year we will host virtual meets. In the past, each of our meets were swum against another team in a combined meet and our scores were tallied on site. This year, we will compete in meets where we swim alone at our pool and our scores are compared with those of another team and the winners are determined based on that comparison. It will be different but I have no doubt it will be fun and exciting all the same! Our practices will run June 14^th through July 30^th and we anticipate having 6 meets during this time. The dates of the meets have not yet been determined.
