Hi,

Due to the new pool policies, we can now hold practice after school for the next two weeks.  Our practice schedule for the summer will now be:

June 2-June 11 Weekdays only

5pm-6pm 13-18 yoa

6pm-7pm 9-12 yoa

7pm-7:30pm 8u

June 14-July 30 Weekdays only

7:50am-9am 13-18 yoa

9am-10am 9-12 yoa

10am-10:30am 8u

Please come ready to swim; wear your bathing suit (which should be appropriate for swimming laps), goggles and cap as necessary.

Also due to the change in policy, we will now be allowing our swimmers who are "not quite confident" in the water, a trial period.  If you have registered your child but are not confident they can make it across the pool, they will now be allowed to practice and show Coach Bianca they can make it across the pool before June 11th.  All swimmers must demonstrate they can swim across the pool without stopping by June 11th.

Also, we plan on changing our meet schedule slightly to allow for some non-virtual meets.  Unfortunately, we are locked into the "virtual division" but Idylwild has agreed to swim us in person so we are trying to accommodate for that.  As soon as Kay okays the new schedule, we will get it out to you!

There will be board members on deck for the first day of practice.  Please either pay your registration fees before June 2nd or plan on paying a board member that night.  We will also be selling some old ARRST merchandise if anyone would like to purchase some.  Due to the wonky season, we are not doing new merchandise this year.

We believe we have the funds to hire one swimmer coach this year.  If your child is 15 and over and would like to act as an assistant coach, please let me know and I will send them the application and explain the hiring process.
