All, this week, tomorrow actually, we will be hosting our first swim meet of the season! These are so much fun and I am so excited to have a home meet finally! I am including an overwhelming amount of information so try to stick with me, much of it you already know since it is our home pool. Facility Location: Austin Ridge Rapids 27 Boulder Dr, Stafford, VA 22554

Parking is limited. We have a small parking lot at the pool and one on the other side of the pool. Many people will need to park on the streets but please be courteous of our residents and not block driveways or mailboxes. The street directly across from the pool, Gunston Rd is a no parking zone for anyone except those that live there.

Team Set-Up:

Our team sets up on the side by the cabanas. The cabanas are used for the meet so please set up between them and the pool. Our pool will close to the residents at 4pm for set up to begin. 

Warm-Ups:

Each team will have 15 minutes to warm-up before the meet. Home team warm-ups are from 5:10-5:25pm. Away team warm-up times are from 5:30-5:45. Meet start time is 6:00 pm.

Rules:

All rules of the Rappahannock Swim League (RSL) are in effect. No photos or videos of any kind are permitted behind the blocks at any time.

Officials:

We will have an officials meeting at 5:45 by the clock near the life guard shack..

Data:

Data is located at the middle cabana on the home side of the pool.

Clerk of Course:

Our Clerk of Course is located under the cabana closest to our shed in the pool area. This is closest to our blocks. We will have an announcer calling events to the clerk and a flip board with the events listed.

Baby Pool: 

The baby pool is NOT to be used at any time

First Aid: 

Please see the Lifeguard for assistance.

Inclement Weather:

RSL and facility policies are followed. In the case of lightning or thunder, please exit the pool area immediately.

Please take shelter in your vehicles. Further information will be given to coaches to disseminate.

Concessions:

Our concessions are provided by Vocelli’s Pizza. They will have pizza, salads and drinks. Cash and cards are accepted.

We will also sell candy and chips that are cash only.
