Good Evening all Austin Ridge Rapids parents, 

This time next week we will have had one practice under our belts and we will be gearing up for an amazing swim season. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone at the pool soon. Lets hope it warms up before then! I have a few reminders before we get started next week. This is going to be long but please stick around to the end!

1) All fees must be paid before your swimmers can get in the pool Tuesday morning. You can send payments via Venmo @AustinRidgeRapids2021 

You can also pay cash or check at the pool on Tuesday. If we need to work out another time to pay please email me at [email protected] and I will be happy to work with you. 

2) Our contract with the HOA says that everyone must have a pool pass to get on deck. They have never enforced this before however it is required. Please make sure your family has valid pool passes in case you are asked to provide them. 

3) Parents are required to be on deck for practices if your child is 8 or younger. You can send a grandparent or a sitter but it must be an adult. 

4) The pool opening social is this Saturday and Vocelli's pizza will be there. They will be selling pizzas, cash only. This is a fundraiser for our team and they have always been amazing at supporting us. Please stop by from 12-3 to get some pizza, play some games and see your neighbors on the first day that the freezing pool will be open. We will also have a raffle basket there. Tickets will be 3 for $10. Please see the picture below. We had a wonderful volunteer put this together for us to support our team!

5) We normally have a parents meeting but it's always so hard to pick a time when everyone can come. This year we will be making a "parents meeting video" for everyone to watch at their leisure. I highly suggest you watch when you are able, I can be quite entertaining! We are hoping to answer as many questions as possible about meets and family involvement.
