For those new to the team, we have a program we call Big Fish/Little Fish/Co-Fish. This is a program where older kids can "befriend" younger kids and the younger kids will have someone to greet them at meets and cheer for them. If your child is 8 and under, they are automatically enrolled as a little fish. We ask for volunteers for our big fish, we like for these kids to be 12 and over. Our co-fish are also volunteers and are those kids between the ages of 9-11. They are assigned a kid from the same age group. Usually, the big fish get a small (less than $5/10 gift) for their little fish at each meet. They greet their little fish whenever they see them and They make a point to help the little kids get to their events and cheer for them at meets. The little fish get a small gift for the big fish at the end of the season (usually a thank you note and gift card). The younger kids LOVE it. Co-Fish exchange small treats/gifts at each meet and cheer each other on. It is a chance to meet new people.  Please respond to this email and let me know the following: 1. If you would like your child/children to participate in the "fish" program, with their name and ages. 2. If you would like to be the adult spearheading the "fish" program.
