Good afternoon Rapids Families!

Thank you to everyone for working extra and offering to help in last night’s meet. It was cold and windy but with teamwork we made sure we met the required staffing for the meet and the kids got to swim their events!

We did team pictures this morning and I was so impressed with how well these swimmers listened and we got all the groups done!

We have three regular meets left in the season and then finals on July 22nd. ALL the regular meets are open for swimmer and job elections. Please note the days of the upcoming meets: Wednesday, June 28th, Thursday, July 6th,  Monday, July 10th and finals will be a Saturday, July 22nd. Get signed up and get them marked on your calendars.  Please, please go in and sign your swimmers in or out of each meet.

We also need EVERYONE to go in and sign your swimmers IN or OUT of finals. Swimmer election is open and we need to find out who is planning on swimming that day. (please note swimmers must have swam in 3 meets this season in order to be in finals, 8 and under only need to have done 2 meets prior). Finals will be at the same pool as last night but Rapids (US) is in charge of the entire meet with concessions so we have some planning to do. Again, PLEASE sign your swimmers in or out of that meet!

One more thing: Rapids Swim team has practice unless Coach Bianca or one of the Board sends out a message. We are allowed to practice even if the pool closes for weather.

Again: PLEASE Sign your swimmers in and out of ALL remaining meets to include Finals. Select jobs for 3 remaining regular meets. We will announce when job sign ups are posted for Finals.

AND remember all swimmer entries for this coming week’s meet are due by 11:00 am Monday, June 26th.
