Good morning Rapid's Families! Lots of info!

We have another swim meet coming up tomorrow night. We will be swimming against Ferry Farm at our pool, 27 Boulder Drive. Warmups begin at 5pm, please have the swimmers at the pool by 4:50pm so they are ready to get in at 5. 

We will begin the meet at 6pm sharp. Timers and officials (stroke and turn, head timer, starter and referee) will be meeting at 4:45pm under the clock. 

Our team sets up on the cabana side, please do not set up under the cabanas however. They will be used for the meet. 

If you are signed up for concessions first half please plan to be at the pool and ready to begin your shift no later than 5:30, we would love to have you by 5:15 if you are able! 

Concessions will be available until we run out, cash and card are accepted. The pulled pork sandwiches were amazing last week! 

If we happen to have bad weather and the lifeguards close the pool please don't go home! Leave the pool deck and we will try to resume it the same night. If we have to postpone the meet for the entire night it will be resumed on Thursday evening at 6pm. 

Clarification about volunteering: We are a volunteer run team and every family must work. Sometimes will we need to ask someone to work an entire meet and we really hate to do that. The reality is that when we host a meet we must fill 53 positions to run it and we just don't have enough families to cover that. We appreciate everyone stepping up to work and help. If you do work an entire meet our goal is to hopefully allow you to not work at an away meet but we just can't guarantee that. In fact, last week we had 3 people working the meet that no longer have children on the team, 2 of them got trained and worked certified positions! It really is all hands on deck and we appreciate everyone!
