Hi Swim Families,

We are in the final two weeks of swim and we have a lot of fun events coming up that I wanted to go over:

1. Last weeks cancelled Lake of the Woods Meet is still up in the air.  We are waiting to hear back from the swim league to see how we can still swim this meet.  Hopefully we will let you know soon-ish.

2.  Monday (14July25) is spirit night at Manhattan Pizza.  Please consider getting lunch or dinner there and telling them you are there for Austin Ridge Rapids.  We get a cut of all money spent that day.  We hope to see people there in their ARRST gear!

3. Kari will be sending out an email about this weeks home meet on Wednesday (16July25) soon.

4. This friday (18July25) is our team scavenger hunt.  It will run from 6-7ish at the community center.  Kids will be assigned to teams and will be sent out into the neighborhood to look for certain items (with responsible teenage/adult chaperones).  Pizza will be served.  We ask that everyone try to wear their ARRST gear.  It was a lot of fun last year and we hope it will be again this year.  So we know how much pizza to order, please RSVP before Friday on the sign up page.

5. Next Friday (25July25), we will do magic cookies the day before finals.  Please consider signing up to bring in cookies.  This will be our last practice of the year!

6. Also next friday (25July25) we will be having our prefinals pasta dinner at the community center.  We will be making posters, decorating cars and carb loading.  Please consider bringing a dish to share.

7. Saturday morning/early afternoon, 26July25 is our end of the year finals meet at the Rouse Center.  More information about this will be coming out soon.  After finals, we will have our end of the year party at our pool from 7-10pm, I know it is a late night but this way we get the pool to ourselves for family relays and fun.  Awards will be given and all kids get a participation medal.  RSVP is not necessary but we ask that all families bring either a dessert or a appetizer/side dish to share.
