Good morning, Super Swim Families!

Now, our next mission is already approaching! We have a home meet today, June 10th, so please review the not-so-secret superhero briefing below.

⚡ MISSION HQ SETUP

The pool will close to the public at 4:00 PM so our League of Extraordinary Volunteers can transform it into Meet Headquarters.

Gates will open at 4:45 PM for all heroes, sidekicks, and fans.

🦸 SUPERHERO BASE CAMP

Our team headquarters will be on the cabanas side of the pool. Please avoid setting up chairs along the shallow end or inside the cabanas, as those areas will be reserved for concessions, data, and the Clerk of the Course.

If additional space becomes available after setup, we'll open those areas faster than a superhero changing into their cape.

🤠 THEME OF THE WEEK: Superheros!

⚡ MISSION TIMELINE

5:00 PM – Warm-ups begin. All swimmers should arrive and be ready for action.

5:45 PM – Officials Meeting. Announcements will be made over the loudspeaker.

6:00 PM – Meet begins! Faster than a speeding bullet... and hopefully just as exciting.

🦸 VOLUNTEER HEROES NEEDED

Volunteer check-in will be with myself or Andrea David for this meet, hopefully near concessions.

If you are unable to attend your volunteer assignment, please notify BOTH me and Coach Bianca as soon as possible. Finding replacement heroes at the last minute can be tougher than stopping a runaway villain.

⚡ IMPORTANT HERO HQ RULES

🛟 The kiddie pool remains off-limits except for lifeguards. Let's keep everyone safe.

🍔 The Super Snack Station (also known as concessions) will be serving pulled pork, hot dogs, and nachos. Cash and cards are accepted.

📸 No photos behind the blocks—even for timers. If a photo is accidentally taken, we'll ask that it be deleted. This helps protect the safety and privacy of all our young superheroes.

⚡ SUPERHERO SURVIVAL TIPS

✍️ Write your swimmer's events on their arm with a Sharpie. Think of it as their personal mission briefing. If you're new to the team, we're happy to help.

🧥 Bring extra towels, sweatshirts, sweatpants, chairs, sunscreen, and all swim gear. Even superheroes get chilly after saving the day.

Weather may be an issue tonight, please sign up for REMIND and join the team facebook page to get up to date announcements about delays. If we have a delay everyone will need to exit the pool deck but don't go far! We will try to get restarted as soon as possible. If for some reason we do have to cancel we will be making this up tomorrow evening!
